We warmly welcome the following new members to our St.Bernadette Catholic community:

  • Teacher, Mrs. Morden

  • Teacher, Mrs. Lomax

  • Teacher, Mr. DePaolo

  • EA, Ms. Parchem

We are excited to have them join our team.

We will continue to fill positions and keep you updated on any developments.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to our talented and dedicated staff for their hard work and commitment this year. Despite the challenges, they have made this year a success, and it has been inspiring to witness our students mature and achieve their goals.

I also want to express my sincere appreciation to all parents, guardians, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and extended family members who have supported our school throughout the year.

Thank you to our Catholic School Council, led by Mrs. Bellamy, for their contributions. We look forward to their ongoing support and involvement in the coming years.

A special thank you goes to our custodial staff, led by Mr. DiCesare for their diligent work in keeping our school clean and safe. Their pride in their work is evident in the neatness and organization of our school environment.

I am incredibly proud of our students for their care, concern, and honesty, which are foundational to our community. Throughout the year, we have held circle meetings to address issues and foster understanding among students. These meetings reflect our commitment to Restorative Practices, which promote healthy relationships and accountability. To learn more about Restorative Practice, please visit https://www.iirp.edu/restorative-practices/what-is-restorative-practices.

A reminder that all parents/guardians will receive an email approximately a week before school begins, letting you know who your child’s classroom teacher for the 2024-25 school year will be.

At our Grade 8 Graduation, it was heartening to see our valedictorian, Lilly, express gratitude to so many important individuals. Teaching gratitude is a cornerstone of our community, aligned with Bishop Crosby’s message of thankfulness for our blessings. We celebrate the positive decisions made by our children, staff, and parents/guardians, knowing that gratitude and positivity are central to our school ethos.

As we enter July and August, I encourage you to enjoy the warmth of summer afternoons and cherish time spent with loved ones.

Warm regards,

Mr. L. Iassogna

Principal
