Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are excited to inform you that on Tuesday, October 31st, our classroom will be hosting a Halloween Move-A-Thon event. We wanted to send you a friendly reminder about this upcoming day of fun and festivities.

Event Details: On this special day, every child in the school will have an opportunity to move to the music and celebrate Halloween in a lively and engaging manner. Students are highly encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes or attire in the festive colors of black and orange. However, please note that we have a few guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Costume Guidelines:

  • No weapons: Please ensure that your child's costume does not include any weapon-like props.

  • No masks: We ask that students refrain from wearing masks to ensure clear visibility and a safe environment.

  • No inappropriate dress: Let's keep the costumes fun and in good taste for a school setting.

  •

Haunted House Feature: One of the highlights of the day will be the haunted house on stage, which is being organized by the Grade 8 class. It promises to be a thrilling experience for the children. As a part of this, we are suggesting an optional $2 donation through Cash Online to support the Grade 8 class in their efforts. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Allergy Awareness: We want to make this Halloween event enjoyable and safe for all students. Due to the presence of students with life-threatening allergies, we kindly request that you avoid packing any items that contain peanuts or any allergens that are in your child's classroom.   Please limit your child to the following items during school on Halloween.

  • A drink of your child's choice (e.g., a juice box)

  • A small bag (or Ziploc baggie) of chips, popcorn, or pretzels

  • A peanut-free chocolate item

  • A peanut-free candy item

  •

We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that the snacks provided are safe for all students.

Thank you for partnering with us to make this Halloween Move-A-Thon a memorable and fun day for your child. We are looking forward to a day full of excitement and laughter. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Sincerely,

Mr. Iassogna
