Dear Saint Bernadette Community,
As the leaves begin to change and we approach the season of gratitude, we are excited to announce our annual Fall Food Drive in support of the Dundas Food Bank. This year, we are partnering with St. Augustine Parish Church and the Knights of Columbus to make an even greater impact on our community.
The spirit of giving is at the heart of this initiative, and it's an opportunity for us to come together to help those in need during this Thanksgiving season. There are many individuals and families in our community who require assistance, and your kindness can make a world of difference.
Please send/donate Non-Perishable Food Items with your child: We encourage you to donate non-perishable food items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, and other staples. Every item you contribute will go directly to supporting those facing food insecurity in our community.
There will be a Classroom Competition: We're introducing a friendly competition among the classrooms to make the food drive more engaging. The classroom that donates the most canned goods will win a special prize! This is a fantastic way to inspire a sense of teamwork and compassion among our students.
The Knights of Columbus Fall Food Drive will continue until October 5th, so you have plenty of time to gather donations and participate in this initiative.
We want to express our sincere appreciation to help those less fortunate in our community.
