Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we approach the Easter weekend, we’d like to take a moment to share a few important updates and extend our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and generosity.
Firstly, we are thrilled to announce that, together, we have raised over $1100 for Epilepsy Canada and The War Amps through our recent Purple and Orange Days. Your generosity and compassion demonstrate the heart of our community—one that truly puts others first and lives out our shared commitment to respecting the dignity of all, in the likeness of Christ. Whether it was for epilepsy awareness or limb difference awareness, your support has made a real difference.
We are also excited to invite you to our Public Speaking Event on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, held in the school gym. Our students have been working diligently on their speeches, and we are so proud of their efforts.
-
Grades 4, 5, and 6 will present at 10:00 AM
-
Grades 7 and 8 will present at 1:00 PM
We warmly welcome you to join us in celebrating the top speeches in grades 4 to 8.
A special thank you goes out to Mr. Smith and the Grade 8 students for their powerful presentation of the Passion Tableaux. Their thoughtful portrayal provided a meaningful and moving lead-in to the Easter weekend and reminded us all of the profound message of Christ’s sacrifice and love.
As we prepare to enter this sacred time, we wish you and your families a peaceful, joyful, and Blessed Easter. May the Risen Lord fill your hearts with hope, renewal, and love.
Easter Blessings,
May the light of Christ’s resurrection shine brightly in your homes and hearts. Wishing you the joy of new beginnings and the peace of God’s everlasting love.
Warm regards,
The St. Bernadette Catholic Administration Team
