Dear St. Bernadette Community,
As we look ahead to the week of May 25 to 29, we want to share a few important updates and celebrations with you.
Next week will be the final week for chicken burgers, hot dogs, and pizza. After this week, hot lunches will no longer be available for the remainder of the school year. Please plan accordingly as we transition back to packed lunches.
On Monday, May 25, we will hold our final Catholic School Council meeting of the year. Parents are warmly invited to attend, and we encourage your participation as we reflect on the year and look ahead to future planning.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to our Grade 7 students who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Thursday, May 21, at St. Augustine. This is a meaningful milestone in their faith journey, and we are incredibly proud of each of them. A sincere thank‑you goes out to the parents for their support and to Mr. van der Zalm for his dedication in preparing the students for this important sacrament. We also offer special thanks to Father Whitfield for celebrating Confirmation with our school community.
