As we step into the first week of June, St. Bernadette is buzzing with activity, achievement, and celebration. Here’s what’s happening across our school community.
EQAO Begins for Grades 3 & 6
EQAO assessments for our Grade 3 and Grade 6 students begin this week. We know our students will shine, and we are proud of the hard work they’ve put in throughout the year. Let’s cheer them on as they show what they know.
Grade 8s Depart for Camp Brébeuf (June 2–4)
Our Grade 8 students are heading off to Camp Brébeuf from June 2 to 4 for an exciting and memorable outdoor education experience.
A heartfelt thank‑you to Madame Carey Urban and Mr. Smith for accompanying our students and supporting this important milestone.
Track & Field Day — June 4
On June 4, our Track & Field team will be competing at the Mohawk Sports Complex.
We extend a huge thank‑you to Ms. Moutinho, Ms. Morden, and Mr. van der Zalm for their dedication in coaching and preparing our athletes. Their leadership has helped our students train with confidence and enthusiasm.
PA Day — June 5
The week concludes with a PA Day on June 5.
Students do not attend school on this day, as staff will be engaged in professional development
