Dear Parents/Guardians,
We hope this letter finds you well and filled with the joy of the upcoming Easter season.
Purple Day- March 26th, 2024.
We'd like to highlight an important event at our school on March 26th, 2024 – Purple Day. This day raises epilepsy awareness across Canada.
Epilepsy affects many Canadians, with one in 100 facing this neurological condition. To support and raise awareness, we're hosting a full civvies day on March 26th. We ask students and staff to wear purple or add a purple touch to their outfits.
Your engagement and awareness efforts help build a compassionate and inclusive school community.
Passion Tableaux March 28th at 1:00 PM
We are delighted to extend a warm invitation to all parents to join us in our school gym on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Our grade 8 students led by Ms. Strba will be presenting "The Passion Tableaux: The Stations of the Cross."
This moving performance, enacted by our grade 8 talented students, reflects on Jesus Christ's final moments before his crucifixion. It promises to be a meaningful experience for all, providing an opportunity for spiritual reflection and connection with the Easter story.
After the performance, let's come together to wish each other a safe and holy Easter weekend. It's a time to celebrate the blessings of faith, hope, and love as a community.
We sincerely hope you can join us for this special occasion. Your presence will truly make a difference.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in your child's Catholic education.
Warm regards,
Mr. Iassogna
Principal of St. Bernadette C.E.S.
