Proactive, Terry Fox and PA Day on Sept 19th.
Dear Parents/Guardians,
It has been a fantastic start to the school year! We’ve enjoyed a strong first couple of weeks, and on Monday, September 8th, we held our first school assembly. I had the pleasure of stepping into the role of teacher for our entire student body as we introduced Habit 1: Be Proactive.
Together with our staff, we shared the importance of making the right choices — especially when no one is watching — just as Christ did. Being proactive means taking responsibility for our attitudes and behaviors, and not placing blame on others. I encourage you to ask your child about what they learned!
As part of our ongoing leadership development, our Grade 7 students will be visiting classrooms to reinforce the message of Habit 1 throughout the school.
A few reminders:
Friday, September 19th is a PA Day — students will stay home.
We’ve already raised over $100 for the Terry Fox Foundation! Our school goal is $500, and your continued support is greatly appreciated. Please click here to make a donation. Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
Thank you for your continued support,
Mr. Iassogna
