Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we approach Christmas, I want to take a moment to reflect on the generosity, kindness, and Christ-like community that have been so evident at St. Bernadette School this season.
Through your support, our Christmas Hamper program was able to provide gift cards to families in need within our community. These contributions will help make their holiday season a little brighter and less stressful. A special thank you goes to Mr. McNamara for his work in supporting this initiative and for his dedication to supporting those who need it most.
We are also grateful for your participation in the December civvies days. The $2 collections, combined with contributions from the school and the Catholic School Council, enabled us to send a donation of $750 to the Catholic Children’s Aid Society. This effort is a reflection of our shared commitment to caring for not only our own children but also for others in need.
Another highlight of this season was our Christmas concert. The event was truly amazing, and I want to thank all the parents and guardians for your support in making it such a success. A special thank you goes to Ms. Tabone for her outstanding organization and to Mr. van der Zalm for his musical expertise. The children came together beautifully and dazzled us with their singing, creating a performance filled with joy and warmth. I am certain they have created memories that you and they will cherish for years to come.
As we celebrate Christmas, let us continue to look out for one another and strive to lead with the example of Christ in our daily lives.
A Christmas Prayer for Our Community
Loving God,
Thank You for the gift of community and the care we share for one another.
Bless the families we serve and those who are in need, that they may find peace and hope this Christmas.
Guide us to act with compassion and to lead with kindness, inspired by the example of Christ.
May we continue to support one another and extend Your love to all children and families.
Amen.
Wishing you and your families a peaceful Christmas and a new year filled with hope.
Sincerely,
Mr. Iassogna
