Last Week of School

Last Week of School
Posted on 06/27/2025

Dear St. Bernadette Families,

As we enter our final week of school, we have a number of exciting events planned to celebrate a wonderful year of learning, growth, and community!

Monday, June 23 – Report Cards Sent Home

Term 2 report cards will be sent home with students. Please remember to sign and return Page 3 of the report card.
This page provides a space for both parent and student comments and signatures, and serves as a valuable communication tool between home and school as we reflect on your child’s progress and learning journey.

Monday to Thursday, June 23–26 – Warm-Weather Civvies Week

Students are welcome to wear civvies/warm-weather attire, including shorts and T-shirts, in place of their uniforms.
Please ensure that clothing is neat, modest, and appropriate for school, and that safe footwear is worn for outdoor play.

Tuesday, June 24 – Air Band Night @ 6:30 PM

Join us in the gym for one of our favourite traditions—our annual Air Band performance! Students and staff have been working hard to bring the stage alive, and we look forward to seeing our community come out and cheer them on.

Wednesday, June 25 – Play Day

Students will enjoy a fun-filled Play Day organized by our dedicated staff.
A heartfelt thank you to our Catholic School Council for providing frozen treats to help everyone cool down and enjoy the day!

Friday, June 27 – Red & White Day and Year-End Assembly

We’ll wrap up the school year with a Red & White Day in celebration of Canada Day.
We will also gather as a school for our Year-End Assembly at 10 AM, where we’ll say farewell to departing staff members and enjoy a special slideshow highlighting memorable moments from the year.

Thank you for your continued support, partnership, and trust throughout this school year. We are so proud of our students and grateful to our families for being such an important part of the St. Bernadette community.

Wishing you all a safe, joyful, and blessed summer!

Warm regards,
Mr. Lucio Iassogna
Principal, St. Bernadette Catholic Elementary School
