Dear St. Bernadette Families,

As we settle into the school year, we’re excited to share some wonderful highlights and upcoming events in our community.

🎗️ Terry Fox Run Success -A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our Terry Fox Run on Thursday, September 25th. Our students ran with enthusiasm and purpose, and together we raised an incredible $1,100 for cancer research. Your generosity and spirit are deeply appreciated.

🏃‍♂️ Cross Country Training Continues- Students continue to do laps around the school as we prepare for our Cross Country Meet on October 9th. We’re proud of their dedication and teamwork!

🗳️ Student Council Elections – September 29th Best of luck to all our student council candidates! We’re grateful to Madame Carey-Urban for organizing this important event that encourages leadership and school spirit.

🧡 Orange Shirt Day – September 30th To honor Orange Shirt Day, students may wear an orange shirt or a touch of orange. Regular uniform bottoms will be worn. This day reminds us that Every Child Matters and encourages reflection and learning.

🏫 Open House – October 2nd, 5–7 PM A reminder that our Open House is happening this Thursday evening. We hope you’ll join us to meet staff,  and celebrate the start of a new school year.

✝️ Blessing of the New Cross – October 3rd at 1:30 PM We invite all parents and guardians to join us for a special liturgy as Father Whitfield blesses our new school cross. This will be a meaningful moment for our entire community.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement. We look forward to seeing you at these upcoming events!
