As we enter the holy season of Advent, we are reminded of the hope, peace, joy, and love that prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ at Christmas. December is a beautiful and busy time in our school community, filled with opportunities to come together in faith, celebrate the season, and share the love of Christ with others.
Annual Christmas Family Donations
In the spirit of giving, we will soon provide details about our Annual Christmas Family Donations program. This initiative allows us to come together as a community to support families in need, living out our faith through acts of generosity and kindness.
Joy Day - Friday December 6th
Mark your calendars! December 6th is Joy Day, a special time when we celebrate the joy of the Advent season. Teachers may reach out to you for support with Christmas crafts as we prepare our classrooms to welcome the coming of Baby Jesus. Your support will make this day even more meaningful for the children. Thank you for spreading the joy! A reminder that is also red, green and white day.
Advent Liturgies
We warmly invite you to join us for our Advent Liturgies as we reflect on the coming of Jesus and prepare our hearts for His arrival. These sacred gatherings will take place on:
- Advent Week 1: December 6th at 1:00 PM
- Advent Week 2: December 12th at 9:30 AM
- Advent Week 3: December 16th at 9:30 AM
- Advent Week 4: December 20th at 9:30 AM
May these liturgies inspire us all to embrace the true meaning of Christmas.
The Grinch Play
On December 10th, our entire student body will attend a performance of The Grinch presented by students at St. Mary’s C.S.S., our feeder school. This outing is sure to bring joy and laughter as we celebrate the creativity and talent of our wider Catholic school family.
Christmas Concert
Our Arts Integrated Teacher, Mrs. Tabone, is leading the students in preparations for a festive Christmas Concert on December 17th at 1:00 PM. All parents are encouraged to join us for this special event, where students from FDK to Grade 8 will share the joy of Christmas through song and performance.
Family Advent Carol Night
Let us come together as a faith-filled community for our Family Advent Carol Night on December 19th at 6:30 PM at St. Augustine Church. This evening of song and prayer will bring us closer to the true spirit of Christmas.
December Civvies Days
To bring some holiday cheer to our school, we have planned several festive Civvies Days. We are asking for a $2 donation per student to support the Catholic Children’s Aid Society. Here is the schedule:
- December 6th:Red,Green, and White Day
- December 16th: Red, Green, and White Day
- December 17th: Christmas Character Day
- December 18th: Funky Hair and Sock Day
- December 19th: Christmas Pajama Day
- December 20th: Ugly Sweater Day

Holiday Break Reminder
As we prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ, please note that the last day of school before the Christmas break will be Friday, December 20th.
